♥ Facilities: There is a smaller stadium for viewing the games, when they’re played on fields #1 and #2. Restrooms are air conditioned.
♥ Parking: There is plenty of FREE parking available. Special events may have valet parking.
♥ Notes: Sunday games are attended well, so you may want to come early for best seats.
General rules and etiquette for Polo fans: Never leave your children unattended. Do not walk up to the horses, unless you have permission from staff. Polo Ponies are gentle and extrememly well trained, but they are not pets. Players are high performance athletes, and they need to focus before games. Do not approach them while they are getting ready. If you bring your dog for tailgating, keep it on a leash and do not let it run onto the fields while players and horses are on it. Keep the security clearance around the field. Make sure your trash is properly put away. Flying paper plates or napkins can spook a horse and pose a potential hazard. Polo attracts many celebrities. They want to watch the game and have a relaxing time. Do not approach or harass them. Do not walk through someone else’s tailgating spot, unless you’re invited in. Respect their space. Never enter the playing field while players and horses are present.
Enjoy the game and have fun! |
